Hello!
My name is Annie - it’s nice to meet you.
I am a Texas native and a recent graduate of Texas Christian University with a BFA in Theatre, Emphasis in Acting. I began performing in high school, but my passion for singing, acting, and joyful movement is lifelong. I can point to several early childhood home videos that suggest I was destined for this… namely, a nonsensical Paula Deen impression I would do where she orders an increasingly inedible meal, and a secret recording of a bedroom jam sesh to my favorite song (over and over and over).
While theatre performance is my main focus, an “about me” page would be sorely lacking without mention of my ten million hobbies and miscellaneous interests. I love to learn new things and mix it up. People often ask, “what can’t you do?” and, honestly, if I haven’t done it yet, it’s probably on my list somewhere. Trying something new is an amazing opportunity to stretch your mind, exercise your problem-solving skills, and potentially reveal hidden passions. If you try it and hate it, well… at least you know one new thing you don’t like.

Sewing
I love to sew my own clothes! It enables me to accommodate my sensory needs and unique vintage-inspired style in an environmentally-friendly manner.

Lately, I've been experimenting with ceramics. I'm doing both wheel-throwing and hand-building. The hardest part right now is centering and glaze!

Fiber Arts
In the fiber arts category, I've tried cross-stitch, embroidery, punch needle, crochet, and knitting. My favorites are embroidery and crochet.
